Tom Sheard

I am incredibly excited to announce that I have started a postdoc at the University of Sheffield! The position in the Applied Biophotonics group , spearheaded by Izzy Jayasinghe, is part of a UKRI project developing imaging techniques, including expansion microscopy, and trialling their application in novel life sciences case studies. I will be based in Firth Court and the department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology until 2024.

I will greatly miss Leeds and the wonderful people in the cardiac and sports exercise labs, as well as everyone at Leeds hockey club, whose support helped me through the PhD. I hope that a proper send-off can be had in the not too distant future!
